Focusing On Injury Recovery, Beautiful Gymnast Rifda Irfanaluthfi Wants To Be The First Gymnastics Athlete From Indonesia To Appear At The Paris Olympics

JAKARTA - Indonesian gymnastics athlete, Rifda Irfanaluthfi, is fully focused on recovering from injuries in recent months. This step was taken to maintain the ambition of the beautiful athlete to penetrate the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Currently, Rifda is being treated by doctor Andi Kurniawan. She was also accompanied by a team from the Indonesian NOC Medical Commission to recover from injuries.

Indonesian gymnastics coach, Eva Novalina said, Rifda will begin to prepare for the World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, next October. This event is a qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The athlete is also aiming for a ticket to the 2024 Olympics to make her name in the history of Indonesian sports.

"I want to be the first gymastic athlete from Indonesia to appear at the Paris Olympics. I am committed to that," she said, as reported by Antara.

The General Chairperson of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani), Ita Yuliati Irawan, emphasized that her party was committed to providing full support to Rifda. The goal is one, to bring the 2021 SEA Games Gold medalist to the Olympics.

Support also came from National Olympic Committee (NOC). The chairman of NOC Indonesia, Raja Sapta Oktohari, hopes that whatever needs Rifda needs to achieve her dreams can be communicated so that they can be fulfilled.

"This gymnastics is a serious concern for me. International Gymnastics Federation President Morinari Watanabe saw Rifda's appearance at the SEA Games and said that he had a special program for Indonesian athletes, and I believe it was certainly aimed at Rifda," said the man who is familiarly called Okto.
