JAKARTA - When Los Angeles FC announced the signings of Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini and Wales striker Gareth Bale, many football fans dreamed of their player's debut day. And last Sunday, that dream came true.

Chiellini played 60 minutes and Bale 20 minutes in LAFC's away win at Nashville SC on Matchday 21 of the Major League Soccer (MLS) season.

However, before the arrival of Chiellini and Bale, LAFC was already leading MLS. Yes, this team has Mexican striker Carlos Vela as the main character.

Currently, LAFC is two points behind Austin FC as the best team in the regular season, with two games to spare.
