The Fate Of Franck Kessie And Andreas Christensen At Barcelona Now Depends On Manchester United's Step

JAKARTA - Barcelona have completed the contracts of two of their new players, Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen. The two are tied until 2026.

Both players are expected to be an important part of Xavi Hernandez's team. Unfortunately, until now Kessie and Christensen have not been able to enter the first team list.

The names of Kessie and Christensen cannot be registered with La Liga because of the salary limit rules. Currently, Barcelona's spending on salaries far exceeds the limits set by league operators.

Based on reports from Spanish media, Cope, Barcelona is now dependent on Manchester United's move. If they manage to sell Frenkie de Jong to the English Premier League club, Barcelona's financial condition is believed to improve and they can register their new players.

Until now, the transfer process of De Jong to MU is still unclear. The player is reportedly still strong to stay at Camp Nou.

Barcelona also wants to keep the Dutchman. However, financial conditions made the Blaugrana management have to be willing to let go of the pillars in the team's midfield.
