Scoring The Winning Goal For The Indonesian National Team Over Kuwait, Rahmat Irianto: We Want To Qualify For The 2023 Asian Cup

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team recorded a sweet result in the opening match of the 2023 Asian Cup qualification. The Garuda squad won with a narrow score of 2-1 over Kuwait at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Wednesday, June 8, evening local time.

Had left behind 0-1 first, the Indonesian national team rose and scored two winning goals. The first goal was scored by Marc Klok in the 44th minute through the white point.

The second goal of the Indonesian national team was presented by Rahmat Irianto in the 46th minute. He took advantage of the chaos that occurred in front of the home goal.

The PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan also welcomed the Indonesian National Team's victory over Kuwait. According to him, this is a good start and capital to face the next two matches against Jordan and Nepal.

"Hopefully the Indonesian national team can qualify for the 2023 Asian Cup finals. We hope that players will remain focused, work hard, and be disciplined to achieve these targets," said the PSSI chairman.
