Watford Vs Everton 0-0, Frank Lampard: There Is Still Work To Be Done

JAKARTA - Everton failed to get full points when they traveled to Watford headquarters in the Premier League, Thursday, May 12 early morning WIB. In this match, Seamus Coleman and his friends had to settle for a goalless draw.

Everton failed to take advantage of opportunities to further away from the relegation zone. With the addition of this one point, The Toffees are still stuck in 16th position with 36 points.

They are only two points adrift of Burnley and Leeds United who are in 17th and 18th positions.

"I think we were a little tense. We created all the chances, but we didn't create the chances we wanted," said Everton manager Frank Lampard.

"There is still work to be done. It is very important the players rest before the two games at Goodison Park," he continued.

In the next two matches, Everton will host Bentford on 15 May and Crystal Palace on 19 May. Lampard hopes his team can take advantage of those two games to seal a ticket to survive in the English Premier League next season.

"We have to be together and fight. I think we can be very happy with our performance at the moment, but there is work to be done," said the Everton manager.
