Canelo Alvarez Excited To Face Dmitry Bivol: He's A Great Fighter, A Champion

JAKARTA - Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will face Dmitry Bivol, whom he believes is a great fighter and a champion. The two will fight in Las Vegas on May 7 next.

"(Bivol is) a champion, he's a great champion, and I like the idea of going back to 175, against the second best fighter in the division," Alvarez told BoxingScene.com.

"He's a good fighter, he's got something to offer, he's bigger than me.

"I think he's a better fighter than these guys [Gennady Golovkin and Ryota Murata]."
