After A Tough Weekend At The Mandalika Circuit, Repsol Honda Rider Pol Espargaro Focuses On The Argentine MotoGP

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Pol Espargaro, did not want to be stuck with the failure at the Mandalika Circuit, two weeks ago. Now, the Spaniard is focused on getting the best results in MotoGP Argentina, this weekend.

In the Mandalika MotoGP race, last March 20, Pol Espargaro was only able to finish in 12th position. This result is fairly good considering how difficult it is for Honda to face the wet track of the Mandalika Circuit.

After a two-week break, the MotoGP riders will race their bikes again at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, Argentina, 1-3 April 2022.

"I can't wait to get our season back on track after a difficult weekend in Indonesia. What has happened is the past and we are focused on the future," said Pol Espargaro on the official MotoGP website.

"We are very close to the top of the championship and the target is to have the same weekend as in Qatar."

Pol Espargaro admits, having had some consistent results in Argentina before. He believes Honda will do better this year.

"It's time to keep working and show our potential," he said.

In this race, the former KTM racer will not be accompanied by Marc Marquez. The Baby Alien was forced to miss and was replaced by Stefan Bradl due to undergoing diplopia recovery.
