Temporary MotoGP Standings After The Race At The Mandalika Circuit: Bastianini Stays At The Top, Oliveira Jumps To 4th Position

JAKARTA – The MotoGP 2022 standings underwent a number of changes after the race at the 2021 Mandalika Circuit, Sunday, March 20. However, at the helm, Gresini Racing's Enea Bastianini remains at the helm.

The MotoGP race at the Mandalika Circuit has been completed on Sunday, March 20. Red Bull KTM racer Miguel Oliveira successfully won the race on the 4.3 kilometer track.

The victory in Mandalika brought Oliveira up to fourth place in the standings with a collection of 25 points. He previously sat in 21st position due to failing to get points in the Qatar series on Sunday, March 6 last.

Meanwhile, Bastianini who finished 11th in Mandalika remained in the top spot. The Italian rider managed to add five points to lead the standings with a total of 30 points.

Behind Bastianini is still occupied by Brad Binder who finished 8th in Lombok. The sibling of Darryn Binder has collected a total of 28 points from the two series he has undertaken.

Meanwhile, defending champion Fabio Quartararo, who previously occupied the ninth position after the Qatar draw, also rose to third position. The French racer managed to finish the race at Mandalika in second place.
