Attend The MotoGP Convoy With VR 46 Attributes Even Though Rossi Is Retiring, Fans: A Form Of Support For All Riders

JAKARTA - Several Valentino Rossi fans enlivened the 2022 MotoGP convoy at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout area, Jakarta on Wednesday, March 16 morning. This then becomes an interesting sight, considering the racer with the nickname The Doctor has retired.

The presence of Rossi's fans at that moment was quite easy to find because they appeared quite conspicuous among the crowd of other residents present.

How could it not be, the two women wearing hijabs waited for the convoy on the shoulder of the road while waving the flag with the 46 symbol which is iconic with Rossi.

Not only that, but they also appeared with VR 46 attributes in the form of bright yellow and black shirts with a screen printing identical to Rossi's favorite color.

Asked about the reason for carrying the attribute even though Rossi was not present, the two women named Vita and Vera apparently had their own reasons. Apart from being a form of loyalty to the idol, this is done to show support for all MotoGP riders.

"We are true fans, so whether he (Rossi) is there or not, we are still present. This is also support for all MotoGP riders", said Vita when interviewed by the VOI team at the location.

Even though her idol has decided to hang up her helmet, Vita says she is still loyal to the development of MotoGP to date. The two women also have new heroes, even though they say they cannot replace Rossi's position in his heart.

"I look up to Francesco Bagnaia because Valentino Rossi is still a junior representing Italy", said Vita.

"If I still support Fabio Quartararo, yes, but Rossi will always be", added Vera cheerfully.

Apart from the presence of Rossi's supporters at this convoy, it is known that there are around 20 MotoGP riders who also smoke the streets around the center of Jakarta. Among them are top racers such as Marc Marquez, Alex Reins, Fabio Quartararo, and many more.

The convoy's route started from the State Palace at around 10.15 WIB which was officially released by President Joko Widodo then continued around Thamrin to the HI Roundabout and ended by entering the Kempinski Hotel.

After meeting the agenda with President Joko Widodo and the convoy in Jakarta, these racers will be ready to fly to Mandalika to make final preparations before racing at the Mandalika Circuit on March 18-20.
