Ahead Of The Mandalika MotoGP: The Story Of The Malaysian Team Boss Who Lost Respect For Valentino Rossi Just Because Of His Signature

JAKARTA - The first season of the documentary, MotogGP Unlimited, has been released via Prime Video, a streaming service on Amazon, ahead of the Mandalika MotoGP race. This film is dedicated to the most prestigious premier class race in the world.

The documentary contains a video collection of race photos, behind-the-scenes stories, and interviews with several drivers and professionals. There are some events that were never known before.

Including the story of WithU Yamaha RNF MotoGP boss, Razlan Razali. The man from Malaysia admitted that he was a supporter of Valentino Rossi. However, his respect for the racer nicknamed The Doctor was lost due to an unexpected incident.

"In 2005 he came to Malaysia for a test, I asked him to sign my book and he passed me without saying anything, he didn't even think twice," complained Razali.

"So I thought: you come to my country and do this to me? You will never win a championship again," he added.

However, Razali's curse was not proven. In the 2005 season, Rossi again became the MotoGP world champion. Likewise in the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

However, the incident has made Razali lose interest in Rossi. Until one day, a surprising incident came.

Razali's team, which at that time was still called the Petronas Yamaha Team, offered Rossi a contract as a rider which was later signed. Razali calls it karma.

"That's life, karma. I didn't tell him this," said Razali.

Now, Rossi has hung up his boots. However, his work in MotoGP remains "alive" with the presence of Mooney VR46 Racing Team.
