Liga 3 Goalkeeper Taufik Ramsyah Dies After Clashing With Opponent Player

JAKARTA - Sad news came from Indonesian football. One of the goalkeepers for Liga 3 2021/2022, Taufik Ramsyah, has died. The Tornado FC player died last Tuesday in treatment after colliding with an opposing player.

This sad news was shared directly by the club's Instagram account. In @tornadofcpekanbaru's upload, it was informed that Taufik died at a very young age, 20 years.

The club also conveyed their condolences as well as paid their last respects to the goalkeeper who was predicted to be the future goalkeeper of the Indonesian national team.

"Sad news, TAUFIK RAMSYAH has passed away. Riau's future Goalkeeper," the statement said, quoted on Wednesday.

“Which since childhood has loved this sport. His last moment was when he was guarding his goal and doing this profession he loves so much," continued Tornado FC's statement.

"Now Taufik has left us all with his passion, message, and proof for this sport and profession," the statement continued.

Taufik Ramasyah died after undergoing head surgery at a hospital in the Pekanbaru area. Taufik suffered a serious injury after colliding with other players in the match between Tornado FC and Wahana FC in the top six of Liga 3 Riau zone.

When he was hit in the field, Taufik was reported to have been unconscious. That's why he was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital on Saturday, December 18. After the operation, he died.
