6 Years At Anfield, Klopp Collects 150 Wins

JAKARTA - Liverpool successfully beat Newcastle 3-1 in the 17th week of the 2021/2022 Premier League. This match also witnessed the creation of a new record for Jurgen Klopp.

In the match that took place at Anfield Stadium on Friday morning, Liverpool had conceded first through Jonjo Shelvey's goal when the game had only been running for seven minutes.

However, Liverpool managed to turn things around by scoring three goals contributed by Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Thanks to this comeback, Liverpool managed to reduce the distance with Manchester City, the leader of the standings.

Not only that, in this match, Klopp also recorded his 150th winning record with Liverpool.

The record was achieved by Klopp during his six-year tenure at Anfield since being appointed as the Reds' tactician in October 2015.

Apart from setting a record for Klopp, this match was also Liverpool's 2000th victory.
