Face Borneo, Arema On A Mission To Break A Bad Record

JAKARTA - Week 16 of Liga 1 2021 will present an exciting duel between Arema FC and Borneo FC. This match is very important for Arema FC to be able to break the bad record of the opposing club.

From current records, Arema has never won over Borneo, this has been the case for the past four years. Therefore, in the next meeting Arema wanted to try to make new notes.

That confidence was revealed by Arema's attacker, Muhammad Rafli. He said Arema's mission was to break a bad record against Borneo based on the team's recent performance.

In this season, Rafli admits Arema has also managed to break many bad records. He believes Arema can steal points over Borneo.

"If there is a problem such as a bad record, we try to just focus on the match. Because this season we have also broken a lot of bad records. We focus on preparation and remain confident for the three points (against Borneo FC," Rafli was quoted as saying from the club's official website, Friday, December 10.

Although Arema started to rise, Rafli also reminded his colleagues that stealing victory from Borneo FC is not easy. Because, Borneo FC is in high confidence after recording consecutive wins in the last four matches.

"This will be a tough match because the opponent is on a good track. Four consecutive wins will certainly give the opponent more motivation. But we will keep our motivation to keep getting maximum results," said Rafli.

The pride bet match between Arema and Borneo will be presented on Friday, 10 December. Playing at the Moch Soebroto Stadium, Magelang at 20.45 WIB, Arema need to perform optimally in order to realize their intention to break the bad record against Borneo.
