Abdul further said that the floods that hit North Konawe Regency since Friday, May 3, 2024, still had an impact in seven sub-districts, namely Langgikima, Landawe, Wiwirano, Oheo, Asera, Andowia, and Molawe sub-districts.
"Some residents fled independently to the homes of their closest relatives," said Abdul.
Until now, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Konawe Regency is also still collecting data on the number of displaced residents.

He revealed that the North Konawe BPBD had also alerted six refugee tents with details of locations, including one unit in Tambakua Village, two units in Sambandete Village, one unit in Alawanggu Village, one unit in Puuwagungdu Village and one unit in Lambungga Village.
In addition, BPBD also alerted 10 units of boats for evacuation and distribution of logistics.
The current obstacles faced by the joint team are Sambandete Village road access which is difficult to pass and logistics stocks are running low after being distributed to eight affected villages.
