Says Leicester Must Win Against Legia, Ayoze Perez: We Must Make King Power A Place To Be Feared By Opponents

JAKARTA - Leicester City striker Ayoze Perez insists his team must win against Legia Warszawa in the Europa League Group C match at the King Power Stadium, Friday morning.

The reason is, the result is important to keep the Foxes' hopes of escaping from the group stage of Europe's second caste competition.

"We understand the importance of tomorrow's game and we are very focused on that and the opportunity to do well and get a crucial result to be closer to qualifying," Perez said.

"This is a match that we must win if we want to qualify from the group stage," he added.

The former Newcastle United player also hopes the home factor can give Leicester a boost with the presence of the fans in the stadium.

"It was important for us to win in front of our fans in the stadium," he said.

"When you need a little push to get better and press until the end of the game, we have to make this stadium a place to be afraid of," said Perez.

Not only is it important to determine the chances of qualifying from Group C, for Leicester the match against Legia will also be an opportunity to break a series of negative results in the form of not winning in five matches in all competitions.

Leicester currently slump to the bottom of Group C with a collection of five points but has a chance to climb to the top overtaking Spartak Moscow (7) who just won over Napoli (7).
