PSSI Is Furious With The Main Mastermind For Fixing The Score Of The Old Face East League 3, Reports To The Police The Main Solution

JAKARTA - PSSI General Chair (Ketum) Mochamad Iriawan was really furious by the match-fixing case that emerged in League 3 East Java. Moreover, the main mastermind is an old face who has been sentenced. As a serious step, PSSI chose to report this case to the police.

Iriawan really hopes that this match-fixing case is handled seriously because it tarnishes Indonesian football.

"So that it can really be handled, because this is a bad issue that can damage football," said Iriawan during a press conference at the PSSI office, Senayan, Tuesday, November 23.

The match-fixing case mentioned by Iriawan is known to have occurred in Liga 3 East Java. As a form of seriousness in eradicating this fraud, he also ordered the Disciplinary Commission (Komdis) and the regional Asprov to intervene directly.

From the results of the investigation, it was found that there were several perpetrators who were not from the soccer division who could not be reached by disciplinary sanctions. For this reason, Iriawan said that his party handed over this case to the police and immediately received attention.

"It's been done in Liga 3 over and over again, it's been done before and yesterday it happened again. So I ordered Komdis to go there," he said.

"And indeed a disciplinary hearing has been carried out by the Komdis and Asprov East Java, so the results are that there are some (perpetrators) who cannot be reached by PSSI or Asprov East Java.

"So those outside the football family are reported to the local police, namely the East Java Regional Police. We immediately coordinated contacting the East Java Regional Police Chief by Asprov and immediately received attention, "explained Iriawan.

However, there is something that makes the chairman of PSSI feel very angry, because one name is found to be an old player. That name was Bambang Suryo, who was also present at Mata Najwa as a resource person and boasted that he would not be touched by the snares of the law.

“Among them, there are eight names, which are well-known, so there is also one who is a resource at Mata Najwa. Even though he was already in the old law but can be involved again?” asked Iriawan surprised.

"He boasts that he will not be subject to this (punishment) and needs to be disabled," he explained.

Although the main actor boasted, Iriawan was determined to deter him. The main route taken is to report the name to the police, especially since Iriawan also said that he had solid evidence.

"Even I have obtained the engineering concerned (Bambang Suryo) to ask one of the assistant referees for league 2 (to cheat). I have the data, let it be, don't open it. The truth will emerge,” explained Iriawan.

Bambang Suryo was also known to be the mastermind behind the match fixing several years ago. As a punishment he was sanctioned by PSSI in the form of a ban on activities in the sphere of football for life, but this incident happened again and made PSSI really have to take legal action.
