Meet Former Club, Marc Klok Determined To Bring Persib To Win

JAKARTA - The third series of the 2021 Indonesian Liga 1 will present a hot match between Persija and Persib. Not just a classic duel that is presented, the match will be a special moment for Persib midfielder, Marc Klok.

In the match that will be held on Saturday, November 20, Klok will face Persija which is the team he has played for.

Even so, Klok will continue to play professionally. His sweet memories at Persija in the past will not make him careless in bringing Persib to win the title.

"This is a special game for me, because before I played there (Persija). And before I won against Persib, but now I want to win against Persija", said Marc Klok as quoted from Persib's official website, Thursday.

Klok had defended Persija in the 2020-2021 season, but then he chose to move to Persib ahead of the 2021 Liga 1. Facing a former team he had played for, Klok said that he had not made any special preparations.

According to him, the preparation is the same as the previous match. However, in every match, he and his colleagues will always try to show their best game so that Bobotoh's (Persib Bandung football club supporters) pride team can get full points.

"As usual, there is nothing special for my preparation. Maybe it's special because I've played there, but for normal preparation", Klok explained.

In that classic match, Persib was confirmed to be minus two players, namely Victor Igbonefo and Ezra Walian. Both must be absent due to joining the Indonesian national team.
