JAKARTA - The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 exhibition was officially opened today, Thursday, February 5. The largest exhibition at the beginning of this year will take place from February 5-15.

President Director of PT Dyandra Promosindo, Daswar Marpaung, revealed that the IIMS exhibition is a collaboration space that brings together manufacturers, industry players and businesses in an ecosystem that strengthens each other.

"We want to present a platform that encourages innovation," he said, in his remarks, Thursday, February 5, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

On the same occasion, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the national automotive industry since the end of last year and early 2026 has begun to show signs of recovery.

"The pressure in the automotive industry is very heavy, but at the end of 2025 and early January 2026 it has begun to show a rebound. This is supported by export performance and the acceleration of electrification vehicles," said Agus.

As is known, this year IIMS will be attended by more than 180 automotive brands and supporting industries. Of these, 35 brands of four-wheeled vehicles are confirmed to participate in IIMS 2026 including BAIC, BMW, BYD, Changan, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, DFSK, Ford, GAC AION, Geely, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, iCAR, JAECOO, Jeep, JETOUR, KIA, Lepas, Maxus, Mazda, Morris Garages, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Prestige, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Wuling, and XPeng.

IIMS 2026 also presents 26 brands of two-wheeled vehicles, namely: AHM, Alva, Aprilia, Benelli, Benda, BMW Motorrad, Harley Davidson, Indomobil E-Motor, Italjet, Kawasaki, Keeway, KTM & Husqvarna, Morbidelli, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Pacific Bike, Piaggio, Polytron, QJ Motor, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, Scomadi, Triumph, United, Vespa, and Yamaha.
