Is The English Language System Visible, Huawei Aito M9 Entering The Global Market?

JAKARTA - Aito, a member of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) made by Huawei, is predicted to prepare an M9 model for the international market, this is evidenced by the global version of the HarmonyOS smart cockpit system.

Citing from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, December 3, the screenshot shows that the system has been localized with overseas map services, integrated with Huawei ADS' advanced driving aid suite, and includes a series of global apps.

In addition, it displays English labeling formats and routes commonly used in overseas markets. This shows that the array of vehicle navigation has been rebuilt to match regional mapping data, licensing requirements, and search databases outside China.

System menus, regulatory pages, onboarding voice assistants, and media controls are available in English, with customized formats and iconography to suit international standards.

Entering Indonesia

Is this in line with what was recently registered in Indonesia? Recently, the electric car which is suspected to be the Huawei Aito M9 model was registered in Indonesia through industrial design registration at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI).

Through VOI monitoring, Friday, November 7, an application with the number A002020405895 was submitted by Huawei Technologies located in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China on November 5, 2025.

The design listed shows the appearance of a large SUV with a minimalist style, a combination of two tone colors, and gold accents in several parts of the body. The design is synonymous with the Aito M9 model that has been marketed in China.

Seeing the specifications, in their home country Aito M9 comes in two variants, namely EV (pure electricity) and EV (Electric Extended Range Vehicle). This SUV has a length dimension of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,800 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.

The Aito M9 cabin is configured for six passengers with a trunk capacity that can be arranged from 316 liters to 1,252 liters. In terms of performance, the pure electric variant is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh capable of generating up to 523 hp and 673 Nm torque.
