Chery Values The Use Of Electric Cars In RI Still Needs To Be Educated

BANDUNG - Electric car manufacturers from China Chery assess that consumers in Indonesia still need education on the use of environmentally friendly vehicles so that the spread of knowledge is more equitable and not centered in big cities alone.

"Actually, it has been formed, it's just not completely. This means that the concentration is still in Jabodetabek and several big cities, not yet in several other city areas," said Head of Brand's Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, October 12.

The current use of electric cars is synonymous with big cities.

According to Rifkie, the use of electric cars can also penetrate the sub-district area because the distance from one point to another is not too far away so it is considered quite profitable if mobility uses these environmentally friendly vehicles.

In addition, consumers in several cities also often experience long queues at night to fill up gasoline so that the use of electric cars can be an alternative.

A number of brands in Indonesia, including Chery, often provide a choice of powertrain (machine) for electric cars, whether hybrid cars or full electricity. This method, said Chery, is their strategy to increase the adoption of electric vehicles, especially at untouched points.

"Still not (suburban areas). That's why we Chery's strategy is to provide several alternative powertrains to be able to give penetration to several cities that they have not or have not been able to adopt directly the BEV," he said.

Chery beberapa waktu memperkenalkan mobil Tiggo 9 CSH (Chery Super Hybrid) yang dibekali mesin ACTECO H4J15 berkapasitas 1.500 cc turbo beserta tiga motor listrik dan baterai 34,4 kWh. Keberadaan tiga motor listrik itu menghasilkan tenaga mencapai 395 PS dan torsi 650 Nm.

Kendaraan itu dapat berjalan hingga 1.400 kilometer jika kondisi BBM penuh dan baterai yang juga penuh. Sementara untuk mode EV, Tiggo 9 CSH dapat berjalan sejauh 180 kilometer.

Some time Chery introduced a Tiggo 9 CSH (Chery Super Hybrid) equipped with an ACTECO H4J15 engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc turbo along with three electric motors and 34.4 kWh batteries. The existence of the three electric motors produces 395 PS and 650 Nm of torque.

The vehicle can run up to 1,400 kilometers if the fuel condition is full and the battery is also full. As for EV mode, Tiggo 9 CSH can run 180 kilometers.
