Presenting Many Vehicle Brands, GIIAS Surabaya Records Positive Results With Visits Of Nearly 32 Thousand People

JAKARTA The 2025 GIIAS series officially ended with positive achievements. The largest automotive exhibition in East Java has again become a magnet for thousands of visitors who want to see firsthand the latest innovations and vehicle technology.

GAIKINDO Chairman, Yohannes Nangoi, expressed his gratitude for the successful implementation of GIIAS Surabaya this year. According to him, the public's high enthusiasm is strong evidence that support for the Indonesian automotive industry is still very large.

"In the midst of various challenges, GIIAS Surabaya 2025 continues to run smoothly. The presence of the community, ranging from automotive lovers to families, shows how much the public loves this industry. GAIKINDO believes this spirit will be positive energy for the achievements of the national automotive industry," said Nangoi in an official statement, Wednesday, September 3.

This year, GIIAS Surabaya 2025 presents a total of 30 vehicle brands. Rows of passenger cars that appeared include AION, BAIC, BYD, Chery, Citromen, Daihatsu, Denza, Geely, GWM, Honda, Jaecool, Lexus, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Seres, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinfast, to Wuling. For the commercial vehicle segment, DFSK also enlivened the exhibition. Meanwhile, eight motorcycle brands also appeared attractive, ranging from Aprilia, Kupprum, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Scomadi, United E-Motor, to Vespa.

Chairman III and Chairperson of the GAIKINDO Exhibition Organizer, Rizwan Alamsjah, added that the diversity of brands and technology brought by the participants became the main attraction. Throughout the exhibition, the GIIAS Surabaya 2025 area is always filled with visitors.

"Until the closing, there were 31,870 people present. Although slightly below last year's achievement, seeing the situation during the exhibition, this result remains very positive," said Rizwan.

In addition to the opportunity to see the latest technologies, visitors are also spoiled with a number of new car launches that are immediately the center of attention. To enliven the event, GIIAS Surabaya 2025 also awarded Favorite Booth, Favorite Car, and Favorite Motorcycle awards to participants who stole the hearts of the visitors the most.

GIIAS' excitement this year did not stop in Surabaya. The GIIAS The Series 2025 series will continue to Semarang on September 24, then Bandung starting October 1, and closing in Makassar starting November 5.
