VinFast Indonesia received an extraordinary award at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), thanks to an innovative approach that combines technology, culture, and commitments to sustainable mobility.

This Vietnamese brand won two awards from the organizers of GIIAS 2025, namely Favorite Booth Passenger Car 450 '750 sqm and Favorite Booth Best Collaboration with IKAT Indonesia.

VinFast Indonesia CEO, Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, said it was very honorable that VinFast received the two awards at the GIIAS 2025 event.

"The collaboration with Didiet Maulana reflects our efforts in combining innovation with culture, while the diversity of product lines that we present demonstrates our commitment to supporting the transition to electric mobility. We will continue to innovate and build strong relationships with Indonesian consumers," he said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, August 6.

VinFast won the Best Collaboration award for the creative collaboration with Didiet Maulana, a well-known textile and fashion designer and Creative Director of SArupa by IKAT Indonesia. In this collaboration, Didiet designed an exclusive ikat motif entitled Amatra Kalanara, which became a typical visual identity at the VinFast booth at Hall 2, ICE BSD City.

This motif is inspired by Indonesia's cultural wealth and VinFast's warm, progressive, and friendly service philosophy. The visual elements in Atra Kalanara also adapt the form of the VinFast logo, reflecting the spirit of pioneering, technological innovation, and dedication to a green and sustainable future.

On the other hand, the Favorite Booth - Passenger Car (450750 sqm) award was awarded for VinFast booth design which is considered inspiring and interactive. This Booth features a total of 11 electric vehicle units from various segments, ranging from VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7 to VF e34, which represents the diversity of choice for consumers from various levels of society.

Several vehicles are shown themematically to attract the attention of all ages. One of the VF 6 units appeared with the animated themeapun & Notch, while the VF 7 unit came with a heroic feel with the theme Fantastic Four as part of Disney's special display inspired by Disney.

VinFast also offers an interactive experience presented at the booth, in the form of education on the electric vehicle ecosystem and smart technology which is part of the company's global commitment. This interactive space has succeeded in attracting the attention of visitors, as well as strengthening VinFast's position as an important player in the transformation of electric vehicles in Indonesia.

This brand utilizes a booth at GIIAS 2025 by holding an inspiring public discussion room through the VIN TALKS session, by presenting national figure Gita Wirjawan. In the forum, Gita discussed the importance of STEM education, demographic bonuses, and cross-sectoral collaboration as the key to green economy growth and a sustainable future for Indonesia.

Through technological innovation, collaborative approach, and sustainability commitment, VinFast proved himself to be a major player in Indonesia's green mobility transformation, not only today, but also for the future. His presence at GIIAS also marks the company's strategic steps in building national market confidence through an inclusive, creative, and collaborative approach.
