The Price Starts At IDR 475 Million, Here Are The Specifications From Geely EX5 For Sale In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Geely Indonesia has started sales of EX5 for the Indonesian market through the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025.

This premium EV SUV marks Geely's great step in presenting advanced electric vehicle technology that prioritizes efficiency, security, and driving comfort for the Indonesian people.

"Geeely sees great potential to contribute to the acceleration of this transition by presenting Geely EX5, an electric-powered SUV that combines the best-class innovative technology, superior performance, and comfort and security," said Geely Auto Indonesia CEO Victor Gao during the IIMS 2025 event.

Modern Design

This car is designed with a futuristic and smooth design on each side. Competing in the compact electric SUV market, Geely EX5 has dimensions with a length of 4,615 mm, a width of 1,901 mm, a height of 1,670 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

Geely EX5 has an 18-inch alloy rim with a more stylish front grip and sharper futuristic Dazzling headlights.

The back has a back light that connects on both sides, as well as highlighting the sophisticated and luxurious elements of the car.

Comfortable And Sophisticated Interior

Modern elements are highlighted at EX5 with the presence of an ambient light on the inside consisting of 256 colors. In addition, there is also a panoramic sunset that emits a maximum comfort side.

Not only modern, luxury elements radiated with expensive layers of medium interior accompanied by a 10.2-inch LCD instrument cluster screen and Windshield Heads-Up Display (W-HUD) measuring up to 13.8 inches.

Users are also spoiled with a touch screen High-Definition (HD) measuring 15.4 inches supported by a 7nm high-performance chip.

This car is equipped with a voice assistant feature "Hello Geely" which consists of more than 200 voice commands and 10 languages, including Indonesian.

The manufacturer from China designed EX5 with maximum comfort plus Flyme Sound consisting of 16-premium audio systems, including 1 standalone subwoofer, 2 headrest speakers, 5 mid-range speakers, 4 tweeters, and 4 woofers.

Safety Features

Geely EX5 has ADAS Level 2 technology with 13 different functions, consisting of Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Intelligent Cruise Control, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELKA), Blind Spots Detection (BSD), and many more.

Selain ADAS yang memanfaatkan radar, SUV ini juga dilengkapi fitur keselamatan airbag sebanyak enam buah di berbagi sisi interior.

Performance And Tempuh Distance

Geely EX5 is equipped with a front-wheeled electric motor that has a power of up to 160 kWh and a torque of up to 320 Nm. With this force, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 6.9 seconds for the Pro variant and 7.1 seconds for Max type.

Meanwhile, EX5 has a 60.22 kWh capacity battery that can provide a distance of up to 495 km on Pro and 490 km for the Max variant.

Armed with the GAE Architecture platform developed by Geely, the car can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.

Prices And Color Choices

The automotive manufacturer from China announced the price of a compact SUV worth IDR 475 million for the Pro variant and IDR 515 million for the Max type.

However, Geely provides a special price offer for IIMS 2025 with a tag of IDR 465 million Pro and IDR 505 million for the Max variant.

Geely EX5 is offered with a variety of color choices, ranging from Turquoise Green, Carbon Black, Frost Gray,UNlight Silver, and Snowy White.
