Tanks Control 70 Percent Of GWM Sales In Indonesia Throughout 2024

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) has established its position in the Indonesian automotive market by presenting various leading models throughout 2024.

In total there are several models presented, ranging from Tank 500 HEV, Tank 300 HEV, Haval H6 HEV, to Jolion HEV. Of these models, the Tank brand is still a mainstay throughout 2024.

"Because the Tank was introduced first since February, it will be the first Tank," said Sales & Network Director of GWM Indonesia Lisa Wijaya, when met in the Fatmawati area, some time ago.

If detailed again, Lisa said that the sales of the Tank brand in Indonesia throughout 2024 reached 70 percent, one of the reasons was because the models presented were quite good.

"Because the Tank model is quite good, and the build quality is also not inferior to European brands," he added.

Although Tanks are selling well, Lisa said other models are also quite well received in the Indonesian automotive market, because they have their own market share.

"Haval has its own market share, so it is also quite well received," he explained.

Next year GMW also plans to add another model in Indonesia, including Ora electric cars. For other models, it has not been disclosed.
