Officially Entering England, Xpeng Boyong Model G6

JAKARTA - The Chinese electric vehicle company Xpeng signed an agreement with a distributor from England, expanding its presence in the global market.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Monday, November 18, Xpeng signed an agreement with International Motor Ltd (IML), as well as signaling the official entry of the brand to the British market.

"The first Xpeng model in the British market is the G6, a luxury Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) which is expected to go on sale there (England) early next year," said Xpeng.

The British market is also considered an important part of the entry of Chinese brands into Europe, especially supported by well-known distributors who have a strong reputation in England, Ireland, and Northern Europe.

"Xpeng aims to revolutionize the driving experience for British customers in the near future, making it safer, smarter and environmentally friendly," added a statement from Xpeng.

Previously, Xpeng G6 himself had debuted on Goodwood, at that time the car was only exhibited and had indeed entered into a partnership with IML.

Xpeng itself has entered several European markets since 2020, and has been present in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain to Portugal. Its presence in the British market certainly adds to the European country being peddled by the brand.

In specifications, the car entering the SUV segment has a length of 4,753 mm, a width of 1,920 mm, a height of 1,650 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. The distance was recorded at more than 500 km with a peak speed of 200 km/hour.
