MG Plans In Indonesia In 2025, Will Launch Many New Car Models

JAKARTA - The British auto brand, namely MG, continues to expand in Indonesia, and has carried out various plans for 2025.

Revealed by MG Motor Indonesia Chief Executive Officer He Guowei, for 2025, MG will present many new models for the Indonesian automotive market.

"In 2025 we will have an MG4 EV with a battery capacity of 64 kW, further away from the current one," he said, when met in the Jakarta area some time ago.

However, he did not elaborate in more detail regarding the new travel distance for MG4 EV next year. Indeed, under VOI's monitoring on the official MG Motor Indonesia website, currently the MG4 EV electric car has a battery capacity of 51 kW with a distance of 425 km in the NEDC count.

He further said that MG will present a facelift of the MG 5 GT model in Indonesia, the facelift model itself has been rolling out since last August. For the facelift model, MG 5 GT has a longer dimension than its predecessor.

In addition, the interior changes the total new digital cockpit with two screens consisting of head units and instrument panels, while for some features the controls are transferred to the head of the unit.

"GIIAS 2025 we will also have a new car, including 5 GT facelifts, there will also be SUVs," he added.

Not only that, MG also plans to bring PHEV, namely S5 and will also present MPV. Unfortunately, once again he did not describe which segment of MPV in question would fill which segment, both BEV and ICE.
