MMKSI Inaugurates New Mitsubishi Training Center In Cibitung Which Becomes The Largest In ASEAN

JAKARTA - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) today inaugurated a new Mitsubishi Motors Training Center facility, located in the MM2100 Cibitung Industrial area, Bekasi, West Java.

The facility is the largest and most comprehensive Mitsubishi Motor training center in Indonesia, even in the Southeast Asia region, and is an important pillar for the company.

President Director of PT MMKSI Atsushi Kurita, revealed that this new Training Center is one of the important pillars for Mitsubishi brand values, namely life's Adventure, where companies want to become reliable brands and can support every consumer journey in Indonesia.

"This facility plays an important role in ensuring our readiness to keep brands competitive in competition, as well as rapid challenges in the Indonesian industry," he said, during the inauguration of the new Training Center, in Cibitung, Wednesday, October 30.

Furthermore, he said, on the way to the existence of the 55th year Mitsubishi Motors brand with Indonesia, this valuable investment (training center) was part of the company's commitment to continue to be active in Indonesia.

Strategic location

The choice of the Jabodetabek area as a domicile of the Mitsubishi Motors Training Center is not without reason, due to its strategic location, as well as the contribution of an excellent area, or 40 percent of the national sales of passenger vehicle models and Mitsubishi Motors light commerce.

In addition, the number of service incoming units or so-called (SIU) in the Jabodetabek area throughout 2023 reached more than 200,000 units. The details of the location, the Mitsubishi Motors Training Center is located not far from the exit of the Cibitung Toll Road, will start operating on October 14, 2024, and will be the main training center of Mitsubishi Motors in Indonesia, in addition to eight other Mitsubishi Regional Training Center (MRTC) facilities that previously operated in eight cities in Indonesia, namely Medan, Palembang, Cikarang, Kebumen, Mojokerto, Makassar, Banjarbaru, and Bandung.

Investment value and offer complete facilities

The Mitsubishi Motors Training Center was built with an investment value of IDR 250 billion, which is in line with MMKS' strong commitment to the slogan 'Life's Adventure' to accompany, and support consumers' lives in their daily activities through improving the standard of the best service quality to a higher level.

Standing on an area of 20,200 m2 and a building consisting of two floors with a total area of 8,895 m2, is designed with a modern concept that is in accordance with the value and spirit of Mitsubishi Motors, where operationally it will continue to maintain a good work environment. Mitsubishi Motors Training Center has competent teaching staff with global Mitsubishi Motors certification and operational standards. In addition, all facilities support needs related to sales activities, vehicle services, provision of spare parts to body and paint facilities.

All learning materials will be carried out in clean and convenient classrooms, with complete facilities to support simulations during training. Not only that, there is a 5.625 m2-wide test course area in the outdoor area, which will be used by trainers to test vehicles for product training and training related to full-sales, to get real experience on Mitsubishi Motors products.

Mitsubishi Motors Training Center Training Curriculum

The Mitsubishi Motors Training Center facility is expected to be a leading center in the development of labor skills and capabilities, in order to meet the increasing needs of Mitsubishi Motors dealers throughout Indonesia.

In total, this facility has a total training capacity of 6,000 people or a three-fold increase from before, through 46 training class sessions for sales training for 2,600 people, and 351 full-sale service training class sessions divided into technical classes, non-technical classes, and body & paint, for 3,200 people.
