Introducing Electrification Technology In Indonesia, Honda Presents Historic Site Exploration In Many Cities

JAKARTA - In introducing electrification technology, each manufacturer has various unique ways. As is the case with PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM).

This time, HPM expanded the Honda e:Technology City Tour program by bringing a unique experience of exploration of historical sites using electrified technology vehicles to three new cities, namely Palembang, Yogyakarta, and Malang, which were chosen because of their high interest in electrification technology.

Previously, the program had been successful in Jakarta, and this time again collaborated with the Good Guide community, to invite more people to enjoy environmentally friendly tours by Honda's electrification vehicle.

Through this initiative, Honda emphasized its commitment to environmentally friendly technology as well as introducing Indonesia's history in various cities in a modern and sustainable way.

"We see great enthusiasm from participants in Jakarta and many have suggested that this program be expanded to other cities. Therefore, we want to ensure that more people can engage and understand more about sustainable transportation solutions through Honda e:Technology," said Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor Yusak Billy, in an official statement received, Wednesday, October 23.

On this occasion, Honda will bring various leading electrification lines, such as Honda e:N1, Honda's first electric car to be launched in Indonesia in 2025, as well as Honda STEP WGN e: HEV, MPV hybrid which was first introduced at GIIAS 2024.

The program will start in November 2024 and still carry the theme Past Meet the Future, which invites participants to explore historic sites using environmentally friendly cars.

"We want to show that Honda is not only a vehicle, but also reflects innovation, reliability, and passion which has always been our hallmark," he added.

Not only presenting an electrification model, Honda also features other favorite models. Including, All New Honda Accord RS e: HEV, All New Honda CR-V RS e: HEV, and Honda e. Not only that, visitors can see closer to Honda EM1 e: Honda electric scooters, as well as Honda LiB-AID E500 energy storage devices. Not to forget, Honda also features the Honda N-VAN EV Prototype, which functions as a walking cafe called Honda Dreams Cafe Mobile.

As is known, the Honda e:Technology City Tour program is part of the Honda electrification roadmap which has been carried out through various initiatives, such as cooperation with Pertamina using the Honda N-VAN EV Prototype as a commercial vehicle, as well as collaboration with the University of Indonesia using Honda e as a means of transportation on campus for six months.
