Mercedes Jip Indonesia Celebrates 45 Years Of G-Class With Touring East Java-Bali

JAKARTA Mercedes Jip Indonesia (MJI) has just held a long tour entitled "45 Years of G-Class East Java-Bali" which also attended the 19th National Jambore (Jamnas) Mercedes-Benz Club Indonesia (MB Club INA).

As many as 50 units of Mercedes-Benz G-Class starting on September 21, 2024 participating on a trip from Jakarta to Bali via East Java, celebrating the 45th anniversary of G-Class's presence in the world.

The activity which lasted for eight days was supported by several sponsors, including PT Pertamina (Persero) and BNI, with various interesting activities such as off-roads in Kalijompo rubber plantations, Jember. Apart from off-road, participants also held social services in the form of providing basic necessities and cash to the surrounding community.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to Allah SWT for protecting us, so that during the trip we do not experience significant obstacles," saidten Heman as Chairman of the Committee, through an official statement received, Friday, October 4.

The second day of travel continued with off-road to Meru Betiri National Park, which offers challenging routes and spectacular views. Participants were also invited to enjoy the beauty of Bande Alit Beach, where they formed the number 45 formation on the beach as a symbol of celebration.

In addition to enjoying nature, the MJI also involved elements of local culture in this journey. The event became a memorable moment for participants, who also attended the 19th Jamnas MB Club INA in Nusa Dua, Bali.
