JAKARTA - The grand Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2024 exhibition will resume from October 30 to November 3, with the same place, namely ICE BSD City.

This exhibition itself is one of the efforts of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) to encourage the growth of the motorcycle industry in the country, as well as provide the latest innovations and focus on aspects of safety and the environment, in line with the theme launched, namely 'Riding Green and Safe Journeys for Better Life'.

AISI General Chair Johannes Loman conveyed that with the implementation of IMOS every year, associations are committed to being able to present the latest technological developments in the motorcycle industry as well as providing effective facilities that bring together industry players with consumers.

"AISI is committed to continuing to encourage innovations that not only improve vehicle performance, but also environmentally friendly products," he said, during a press conference in the Jakarta area, Thursday, October 3.

Wider area

Interestingly, this year IMOS occupies a wider area compared to the previous year. Industry players will be more flexible in providing education and introducing the latest technology directly to consumers. With an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, IMOS 2024 will use an indoor area, preparation, and all outdoor areas from hall 9 and 10 ICE BSD-City.

At this year's exhibition, more and more participants are expected to make this exhibition more lively than the previous year. At least more than 60 participants have confirmed their participation in this exhibition.

There are 17 brands of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) motorcycles such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, TVS, Yamaha, Harley-Davidson, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, to Scomadi. Meanwhile, rows of EV (Electric Vehicle) motorcycles include the Alva, Electrom, HORWIN INC, ION Mobility, Polytron, VMove, Volta, and ZPT brands.

In addition to well-known motorcycle brands, the IMOS 2024 exhibition will also be attended by dozens of supporting industries which include tire products, aprons, helmets, lubricants, dashcams, to tools and spare parts.

According to the Head of IMOS 2024 Organizer Sigit Kumala, the expansion of the land is prepared to present motorbikes and aftermarket products needed by visitors in one place.

"With the use of an increasingly large exhibition area and the presence of more complete participants, visitors will find more comfort in exploring exhibition areas and enjoying the entire series of events we have prepared," said Sigit.
