Hyundai Motor Company and Skolda Group officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start a collaboration in building a hydrogen vehicle mobility ecosystem.

The memorandum of understanding contains studies on the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell systems and technologies, studies on the adoption of energy-efficient solutions for mobility projects and products, and exploring opportunities for environmentally friendly ecosystems.

Hyundai Motor Company Executive Vice President Ken Ramirez said the partnership with Skuda would contribute to carbon neutrality not only in the global market, but also in the Czech Republic.

"Together with the Gubernatorial Group, we are working to lead a rapidly growing hydrogen business by creating a positive synergy between our fuel cell technology and mobility products and projects," Ramirez said on the company's official website, Tuesday, September 24.

Both sides have the same view that hydrogen is the main pillar for a sustainable ecosystem, starting from mobility.

As part of the MoU, the parties will explore the possibility that Hyundai will share its fuel cell systems and technologies, thus contributing to accelerating environmentally friendly mobility in the global market where Skode Group operates, including the Czech Republic.

These two companies will conduct a feasibility study on the application of fuel cell systems for various utilization outside of mobility.
