Omoda And Jaecoo Officially Present In England With 2 Mainstay Models

JAKARTA - Omoda and Jaecoo officially enlivened the British automotive market with two flagship models namely Omoda E5 and Omoda 5 conventional.

The presence in England follows the successful launches in Spain, Poland and Italy. Britain, with a large and influential automotive market, is key in expanding the reach of Omoda and Jaecoo in Europe.

"Omodes and Jaecoo are always at the forefront of innovating by presenting high-quality, advanced-tech products and futuristic designs to meet the growing needs of global consumers. This commitment is evidenced by the successes of Chery Omoda 5 and Omoda E5 which are still the best-selling electric cars in Indonesia," said Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia Rifkie Setiawan, in his official statement received, Friday, September 20.

As is known, the Chery Omoda E5, a pure electric car with a range of up to 430 KM (WLTP), offers a worry-free driving experience for long-distance travel.

Its advanced aerodynamic design, with wind drag coefficients of only 0.281, ensures optimal energy efficiency and driving comfort. Battery management technology and fast charging systems allow charging from 30 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.

In Chery Omoda 5, the design of "Art in Motion" combines sports aesthetics with a practical SUV crossover. In addition to its stunning design, Chery Omoda 5 also prioritizes safety with a body made of 78 percent high-power steel and has won five-star safety ratings from leading testing institutions such as the European E-NCAP, Australian A-NCAP, and ASEAN NCAP.

Back in Europe, to strengthen its presence in the European market, Omoda & Jaecoo will also build a wide network of dealers. Currently, there are 31 dealers in key cities in Spain, and will soon be expanded to 80 points of sale. Expansion to other European countries is also planned in the third quarter of 2024.
