So An Important Market, Chery Plans To Present A Special Car Model For The Indonesian Market

JAKARTA - The Indonesian automotive market is one of the important markets for various well-known four-wheeled manufacturers, including the Chinese brand, which continues to present the latest models and is starting to mushroom in the country.

A manufacturer from China, namely Chery, also considers Indonesia to be an important market, and even given special attention. Therefore, it is possible that the brand from China will present a special car model for the Indonesian market.

"Everyone of course thinks the same thing (presenting a special model for Indonesia) because it is an important market and gets special attention," said Jaecool Head of Marketing Evan Anganantika, when met in the PIK 2 area, some time ago.

When asked about the model that will be presented specifically for the Indonesian market, Evan did not answer the details. Reflecting on the existing market, the SUV and MPV markets are starting to be in demand in the Indonesian automotive market.

"When asked about the special model, I answered that it did not rule out the possibility, but it took more time for further investigation in Indonesia to determine the next strategic steps," he added.

The same thing was also said by CSI Head of Marketing Mohamad Ilham Pratama. When asked to present a special model for the Indonesian market, he said it was possible.

"It's in a develop and it's still a long time," said Ilham.

Ilham revealed that this year there will be people from China coming to Indonesia, the goal is to see more in the market here (Indonesia) like what.

When asked which segment he would play, he argued that he might get into the seater dive and still for the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE).

"Maybe Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) 7 seats and it's still the ICE version, not the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV)," he continued.
