BYD Motor Strengthens Presence In Indonesia With Three New Dealers In Strategic Areas

JAKARTA - BYD Motor Indonesia is increasingly expanding its business reach in the country by inaugurating three new dealers spread across Makassar, Malang, and Balikpapan. This step was carried out with BYD Haka Auto, as part of a major strategy to penetrate the market in strategic areas, especially East Java to Eastern Indonesia.

The dealer inauguration process was carried out symbolically in Makassar, which is the center of this expansion. According to Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific, this expansion is very important for BYD, especially in supporting the development of the electric vehicle market in Eastern Indonesia.

"Today is an important milestone for BYD's journey in Indonesia. The opening of the BYD Haka Karebosi dealer in Makassar, which is one of the largest cities in Indonesia and the gateway to the eastern region, is a strategic step to get closer to the solution of environmentally friendly electric vehicles to the Indonesian people," Liu said in his official statement, Monday, September 2.

BYD Haka Auto CEO Hariyadi Kaimuddin added that the opening of this dealer is proof of BYD Haka Auto's commitment to expanding the network and providing the best service for customers throughout Indonesia.

"This is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to deliver the best electric vehicle innovation and support the transformation of clean energy throughout Indonesia. We believe that Makassar, Malang, and Balikpapan have great potential to become the main growth center for BYD Haka Auto in the future," explained Hariyadi.

These new dealers will feature a variety of BYD flagship lines that have been marketed in Indonesia, such as Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal, and M6's first electric MPV in Indonesia which are present in three types: Standard 7-Seater, Superior 7-Seater, and Superior Capt 6-Seat.
