Smart Returns To Indonesia Market Through GIIAS 2024, Take Advantage Of Partnerships With Inchcape

JAKARTA - An automotive car brand from Germany, Smart officially returned to the Indonesian market with the #3 model at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

The return of smart to Indonesia marks the start of a new era that focuses on providing a premium smart electric car driving experience and accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility.

At that moment, Smart officially announced its partnership with Inchscope in presenting sustainability vehicles and is ready to compete in the electric vehicle industry in the country.

President Director of Inchcase Automotive Indonesia, Khoo Shao Tze, said that this strategy collaboration also utilizes the network owned by Mercedes-Benz which provides attractive services.

"Strategic cooperation between smart and Inchcape is also a long-term commitment that ensures the sustainability and success of this brand in Indonesia," said Khoo Shao Tze in his remarks at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, July 17.

Global Chief Marketing Officer Smart Automobile 110 Zhang, said that this collaboration smoothed out his party's plan to carry out brand operations in Indonesia and was expected to be the leader of the transformation of renewable energy vehicles in the country.

This is the perfect combination to achieve Smart's long-term business goals for the Indonesian market, said Jasa.

At GIIAS, this electric vehicle brand introduces two #3 variants, namely Premium and Brabus. Each type has a number of advantages.

The Premium Type is equipped with an electric motorbike measuring 200 kW and a torque of 343 Nm so that it can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/hour. The performance is assisted by rear wheels driving (RWD).

With a battery with a capacity of 66 kWh ternary lithium, the car can run up to a range of 455 km in one charge and is capable of charging with a fast charging DC 150 kW from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the Brabus type has an electric motor that is more powerful up to 315 kW and a 543 Nm torque capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of up to 180 km/hour assisted by an all-wheel drive (AWD).

Carrying a similar battery with a capacity of 66 kWh ternary lithium, this car has a range of 415 km in one charge.
