GIIAS 2024 Automotive Exhibition Officially Opened By Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin

TANGERANG - The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) has now officially opened. The largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia will take place from today, Thursday 18 July to 28 July at ICE BSD, Tangerang. This exhibition was symbolically opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin. "Today's event will be a place to strengthen the synergy and collaboration of stakeholders so that the auto industry will be stronger and more competitive," said Amin at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Thursday, July 18. He also revealed that the government continues to strive to improve the automotive industry and strive for Indonesia to become the center of vehicle export. "The government continues to be committed to realizing a strong and sustainable self-isolation industry. Indo has also established itself as an export hub for motorized oil and electric vehicles by 2030," added Ma'ruf.

GIIAS 2024 will present a total of 55 motorized vehicle brands from various countries such as Japan, Korea, China and European countries, including 31 passenger vehicle brands, namely; Audi, Baic, BMW, BYD, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, GAC Aion, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaecool, Jetour, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi Motors, Neta, Nissan, Porsche, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen, Volvo, Wuling. 4 brands from commercial vehicles attended Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, UD Trucks.

In addition, there are 20 brands of two-wheeled vehicles; Alva, Aprilia, Astra Honda Motor, Exotic, Gelis, Harley-Davidson, Ion Mobility, Italjet, Kupprum, Motoguzzi, Pacific, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Alloy, Royal Enfield, Scomadi, Vespa, Vmove, Volta and ZPT. Apart from passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and two-wheeled vehicles, 3 Karoseri brands also enlivened the GIIAS 2024 show, namely Adiputro, Laksana, and Tentrem. More than 120 participating brands from the supporting industry also do not want to lose to showcase their latest innovation and technology in organizing GIIAS 2024.
