WR-V And Honda HR-V Are Honda Indonesia Sales Stars In The First Semester Of 2024

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded impressive sales reports during the first half of 2024, from two models namely Honda HR-V and WR-V.

In fact, from the data received by VOI, two Honda WR-V and Honda HR-V SUV models recorded the most sales in their respective classes during the first half of 2024. All Honda SUV models contributed 46.4 percent to Honda sales in the first half of this year which recorded 23,986 units.

In more detail, throughout the first half, Honda HR-V recorded total sales of 8,883 units and contributed to sales of the national Medium SUV class of 37 percent.

Meanwhile, in June 2024, Honda HR-V experienced a 17 percent increase in sales compared to the previous month by recording sales of 1,459 units.

Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM Yusak Billy said Honda SUV model sales contributed significantly in the first half along with Honda Brio's favorite models, although in general the automotive market has not shown positive growth.

"We hope that entering the second half, growth can be positive again supported by motorbike shows and we present various sales programs," he said, in an official statement received on Friday, July 12.

Then in the period January to June 2024, Honda WR-V recorded sales totaling 7,088 units or contributing to sales of the national Small SUV class of 42 percent.

Meanwhile, another Honda SUV model, Honda BR-V N7X Edition, sold a total of 6,113 units and All New Honda CR-V recorded total sales of 1,902 units in the first half of 2024.

Honda's most sales in the January to June period this year were occupied by Honda Brio with a total sales of 25,625 units and contributed to Honda's sales of 49.5 percent. Meanwhile, other Honda products recorded sales with a total of 2,070 units.
