Not Only Jabodetabek Focus, Chery Will Expand Dealer Network To Papua In 2024

PT Chery Sales Indonesia continues to expand its network of dealers in the country as part of the plan to build 35 more dealers in various regions, including to Eastern Indonesia.

Senior Sales Manager of Chery Sales Indonesia Setia Hariadi S said, currently there are 65 networks of dealers spread and will continue to grow.

"We remain the main priorities of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. But there are several other areas that will also be reached later," he said, when met in Tangerang, Monday, July 1.

Meanwhile, according to him, several other areas will be the main destinations such as Sumatra, Lampung, Bengkulu, Jambi to Banjarmasin.

"For Kalimantan, I think next month it will be inaugurated in Banjarmasin, there will also be in Samarinda and Balikpapan," he added.

Furthermore, he said that Chery as a whole will also focus on the national sector, meaning that the dealer network from Chery will be comprehensive to several regions in Indonesia.

"For the Eastern Indonesia region, we have also prepared it in Jayapura Papua, because we are also entering all car segments," he explained.

He also revealed that currently several dealer networks are still under construction, and obtaining permits from the government is also quite long for 6-7 months.

"Because to build a dealer, starting from the construction stage and getting permission from the government for a long time," he concluded.
