Officially Sold In Indonesia, Citroen Handed Over E-C3 Units To 50 Customers

JAKARTA - Citroen, an automotive brand from France, officially handed over the electric car unit E-C3 All Electric represented by 50 customers who had made previous orders. The handover took place at the Citroen Experience Center Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta.

This was done following the issuance of a permit to participate in the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Program, so Citro waryan became the first and only brand in Indonesia to obtain official import facilities from the government.

Import activities in a complete built-up (CBU) will be carried out in a transition period to local production no later than 2026. This is a manifestation of Citro harun's commitment to working on markets in Indonesia for a long time.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Indomobil National Distributor Tan Kim Piauw, said that the handover also coincided with the handover of units to 19 other Citroen dealer networks so that the unit would pave the way in the near future.

"The presence and delivery of The New Citromen All Electric C3 to its owners is proof of our long-term commitment to working on the motorized vehicle market in Indonesia and including CitroZin's contribution in supporting the Indonesian government's program for emission-free mobility," said Tan Kim Piauw in his statement, Saturday, June 15.

This compact-dimensional SUV is not only available in the Greater Jakarta area, but also Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Medan, Palembang and Makassar.

With a compact size, the E-C3 comes with a four-seater configuration. This car is equipped with a 57-dk electric motor and a 143-Nm torque, allowing it to reach its highest speed of up to 107 km/hour.

With a battery with a capacity of 29.2 kWh, Citroen E-C3 is able to cover a distance of up to 320 km in full battery conditions.

It has been officially sold in Indonesia, the fully powered Citroen E-C3 All Electric is priced at IDR 377 million on The Road DKI Jakarta.

To ensure the ease of customers in terms of services and aftersales, Citrowasn Indonesia continues to expand its network and targets 22 outlets to be ready to operate by the end of this year.

To ensure the availability of spare parts, a Citro part parts center facility at the Indomobil Parts Center has also been established in the industrial area of Bukit Indah Cikampek City, West Java and is ready to supply spare parts needs in various regions in the country.
