PEVS 2024 Gets A Good Welcome, Periclindo Opens The Possibility Of Holding It Outside Jakarta

JAKARTA - The 2024 Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) Industry event will end tomorrow. However, the remarks regarding this annual event are very positive from various circles.

President Director of Dyandra Promosindo Daswar Marpaung, said that so far the 2024 PEVS has produced transactions of almost IDR 400 billion towards the end of the event. Thus, this is close to the set target.

"What I need to report to you today is visitors to see an exhibition of 40,500 people and transactions of almost Rp. 400 billion in accordance with the target we have set," said Daswar on the sidelines of the event, Jakarta, Saturday, May 4.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Chief of Staff of the Republic of Indonesia and the General Chairperson of Periclindo Moeldoko, said he was quite surprised by the enthusiasm of the public for this exhibition and appreciated the hard work of the participants who had been involved in this event.

"I am surprised that this electric car exhibition is more interesting than the previous exhibition I visited, showing that our hard work reflects the cooperation between all participants," said Moeldoko.

He added that his party received input from the Minister of Industry (Menperin) to hold this exhibition in other cities, although there will be a number of challenges that must be faced.

"The Minister of Industry's advice for Periclindo to be held in other areas, maybe we will hold it in Surabaya or Medan, we will probably discuss the event outside Java," said Moeldoko.

PEVS 2024 takes place from April 30 to May 5, followed by a number of four-wheeled vehicle brands, consisting of BMW, BYD, Chery, Hyundai, MAB, MG, Neta, Seres, Tesla (Prestige Image Motorcars) and Wuling.

Meanwhile, two-wheeled vehicles include Astra Honda Motor, Gesits, Keeway, Kymco, Rakata, VMove, Volta, and ZPT.

Automotive support companies: Astra Otoparts, DUBBS, PT Energi Vertical Indonesia, Gotion High-Tech, Hardy Motor, HEX UP, Ni Xing, Powerindo, SSKTama, Starvo, and TL Power will also participate. Participants from abroad also showed high interest, with confirmation of participation from 90 international participants who will enliven Asia Bike Jakarta.
