Get Positive Response, Wuling Opens Up The Cloud EV Order Period Starting At IDR 400 Million

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors Indonesia announced the opening of the booking period from Cloud EV at the 2024 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

This manufacturer from China opened the booking period with an estimated price of up to IDR 410 million, including a 10 percent tax cut. This also answers the positive response of the Indonesian people to this electric hatchback.

"Today, Cloud EV can be ordered in Indonesia. This is the answer to the increasing demand from the Indonesian people for electric vehicles," said Sales & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors Dian Asmahani, on the sidelines of the event, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 30.

In addition to notifying the price of the order on this model, Wuling also explained that the Cloud EV is equipped with advanced batteries that can provide a distance of up to 460 km in one charge.

Speaking of the exterior of the Cloud EV, the design implemented on this electric car is inspired by curvature and cloud shape with a curved silhouette without a sharp angle. The design of the building adds to a friendly and soft minimalist impression. Then the front fascia is decorated with a horizontal DRL light in the middle with a sein LED light on the left and right as well as a LED projector headlamp at the bottom.

Meanwhile, on the side of the Cloud EV, the aerodynamic design is applied. This electric car is equipped with Multifunctional Review Mirror and Hidden Inductive Door Handles which adds a sleek impression on the door. This MPV uses an 18-inch alloy velg with a Biangla-inspired design. At the stern of this car looks modern with a horizontal LED attachment and LED backlight with High Stop Mount Lamp as well as built-in antenna.

The manufacturer also gives a premium impression on this model with an 8.8-inch display of Multi Information Display on an interior that is integrated with 15.6-inch LED Central Control Screen located in the middle.

To support the capacity, the Cloud EV carries a spacious cabin space with 18 storage compartments. Not only that, the storage of goods is also supported by deep Sunk baggage with a volume of up to 606 liters. If you need more baggage space, users can fold the back seat evenly to get a maximum volume of 1,707 liters.

The unique thing related to the Cloud EV interior is Sofa Mode which adds comfort in the cabin. This function is operated by donating the first row bench to the maximum and then extending the back seat to 135 degrees, so that the entire chair resembles a comfortable long sofa.

The manufacturer, which has shown its existence since 2017 in Indonesia, also announced that it will send the first unit of Cloud EV starting next May.

The company also provides promos during pre-booking, namely life insurance on all EV components, free 7 kW charging devices, extension free maintenance, and free charging on the DC GB/T charging network from Wuling.
