Bad Impact Of Mixed Water Gasoline For Vehicles, Can Make Tanks Weighted

JAKARTA - Social media was shocked by gasoline mixed with water at a gas station in the Bekasi area, West Java, making the vehicle go on strike.

From the video narrative circulating, dozens of motorbikes broke down and a number of users protested to one of the gas stations, it was discovered that this happened after filling gasoline with the type of Pertalite.

Ternyata masalah di atas bisa menimbulkan dampak buruk pada kendaraan, hal tersebut diungkapkan oleh Asst General Manager Marketing Public Relations Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) Antonius Widiantoro.

"The impact is there because the water cannot blend with gasoline which can leaving the tank paralyzed," he told the media crew during breaking the fast together, March 27.

The man who is familiarly called Antonius explained a little bit about the flow of the problem, where before the fuel entered the motorcycle injector there was a filter, and when it was too long that dirty contaminated could spoil.

"When it is tarnished, it can affect the process of burning the motorbike," he explained.

He further suggested that motor injectors be cleaned immediately, so that other problems do not occur and Yamaha can do that and there is a tool.

"We cannot find out the condition of the fuel filled into the tank, but for example there is a reduction in performance, of course, it must be cleaned," he concluded.
