Appearing At IIMS, Suzuki Marine Showcases 4 Engines For Environmentally Friendly Ships

JAKARTA - Suzuki Marine, a Suzuki division specializing in selling ship's outboard engines in Indonesia, shows a variety of environmentally friendly 4-stroke ship outboard engines at the IIMS 2024 event.

These machines are implanted in fishing boats and CATamaran, carrying the theme "Preserving Our Oceans, Legacy for Generations", Suzuki invites customers to pay attention to marine cleanliness for future generations. This message is reinforced through two talk show sessions held at the Suzuki Marine booth.

Aceng Ulumudin, Head of the Suzuki Marine Department of PT SIS, conveyed Suzuki Marine's bold move in embedding environmentally friendly technological innovations on ship's outboard engines. According to him, these innovations not only improve product performance, but also have a positive impact on the environment and future of the next generation.

"Suzuki Marine has participated in the Indonesia Boating Gathering program for 5 consecutive years, which was held at the IIMS exhibition. We believe that our technological innovation, which focuses on product performance and environmentally friendly, is the main advantage of the Suzuki OBM product. We believe that good cooperation with all stakeholders and communities will accelerate the growth of the shipping industry in Indonesia and maintain environmental sustainability for future generations," said Aceng in his statement on Wednesday, February 21.

At the Suzuki Marine booth, there are a variety of Suzuki's flagship 4-stroke outboard engines, including DF325A, the only outboard engine in Indonesia with dual propeller technology (Dual Propeller); DF200 mounted on an aluminum ship in collaboration with Morey Marine Indonesia; DF115B with Microplastic Collecting Device technology mounted on two Terafulk-made vessels; as well as DF20A, a flagship 4-stroke paste engine for fishermen in Indonesia. Suzuki's ship's outboard engines use various technologies to support fuel efficiency and its resilience, such as the Lean Burn Control System, which increases fuel efficiency.

In addition to showing off the engine of an environmentally friendly ship, Suzuki Marine also held an educational talk show at the B2 hall which can be followed by all customers who are present at the location. During IIMS 2024, Suzuki Marine also offered packages for selling ship attached engines and ship units at competitive prices for customers who made purchases at the Suzuki Marine booth.
