JAKARTA - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), as the single agent of Hyundai brand holder (ATPM) in Indonesia, is preparing to navigate 2024 with a breakthrough after recording good results during 2023.

Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), this South Korean manufacturer managed to record 35,736 units of retail sales in Indonesia during 2023, an increase of 18.4 percent from the previous one. However, this figure does not make the company complacent.

Francis Soerjopranoto, as the Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID, said that his party would make a breakthrough by presenting the six newest vehicles in 2024.

"If our PR team writes that five new products will be present, then I promise there will be six new products this year," said the man who is familiarly called Soerjo during a media conference session in Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday night, February 6.

In line with Soerjo, Budi Nur Mukimin, as the Chief Marketing Officer of PT HMID, said this was a form of the company's commitment to occupying various segments in the Indonesian market.

"We will remain aggressive and will enter segments that have not been occupied. This is a form of the company's commitment to presenting innovative vehicles so that they can compete in various segments," said Budi.

He added that two of the products will be launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, although Budi does not want to reveal in detail what model will be launched.

"We will bring the latest innovations and products by bringing the two latest products in the IIMS 2024 event and will add to the livelyness of this event," concluded Budi.
