Maserati Announces New Strategic Planning, Will Present MC20 EV To Quattroporte Until The End Of This Decade

JAKARTA - Maserati, an automotive manufacturer specialist in luxury sports cars from Italy, announced its strategic planning in producing electrified vehicles in the future.

Reporting from Carscoops, Friday, January 26, the manufacturer with the "tridente reshuffle" logo will present a fully designed and developed future model in Italy aimed at environmentally friendly mobility.

Maserati also believes that electric vehicles (EVs) have superior capabilities from before and have plans to launch zero-emission models to complement the ranks of Grecale Folgore and GranTurismo Folgore that are already available in Europe.

It is also reported that models such as GranCabirio Folgore will be put into other environmentally friendly product lines that launch at the end of 2024.

Furthermore, the brand under Stellantis will present the MC20 Folgore which will be present starting in 2025. Then, Maserati will present an electric crossover in segment E in 2027.

After the emergence of these two models, it is hoped that the company will launch a Quattroporte which will be included in EV ranks in 2028.

Davide Grasso, as CEO of Maserati, said that his party is trying their best to lead changes in electrification in the automotive industry by presenting two iconic models powered by 100 percent electricity and one model that is in the production process this year.

"We will offer our preferred customers the most powerful Maseratis ever, pushing for limits on the pleasure of driving into a new era," said Grasso.

In addition, Maserati's factory in Modena is scheduled to accept new investments and facilities as part of the plan. It will also be home to the Atellier of the Fuoriseerie Personalization Program, which will focus on vehicles assembled according to customer orders.
