Seven Events, as the organizer of the leading annual automotive exhibition in Indonesia, announced plans to hold seven different exhibitions ranging from Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC), Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series, Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW), to Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS).

In recent years, close cooperation with the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) and the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) has resulted in rapid growth in annual automotive events in Indonesia.

Andy Wismansyah, as President Director of Seven Events, stated that this year's automotive implementation will feature innovations that are different from previous performances.

"The exhibition organized by Gaikindo and AISI continues to grow, including increasing the number of participants, expanding the exhibition area, expanding to new cities, and adding several new exhibitions," Andy said in his remarks during a joint media event at Kedai Page, Cipete, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 24.

The first exhibition to be held by the Seven Event in 2024 is GIICOMVEC, which will take place on March 7-10 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan. This exhibition will feature the latest innovations with a focus on commercial vehicles and showcase the latest logistics needs.

Furthermore, the 31st Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, one of the largest automotive events in Southeast Asia, will take place on July 18-28 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

Andy stated that the Seven Events have a target to match the largest automotive performance in the world today, namely the Shanghai Auto Show held in China.

"After the success of GIIAS 2023 which matched the automotive exhibition in Thailand, we hope that GIIAS will continue to grow with a significant increase in area area, additional participating brands, and more vehicle models," Andy added.

GIIAS will also be held in various cities, including Surabaya from August 28 to September 1 at Grand City Convex, Bandung on September 25-29 at Sudirman Grand Ballroom, and ended by the city of Semarang on October 23-27.

In addition, the IMOS 2024 two-wheeled vehicle event will be held from October 30 to November 3 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, with an area twice as large as before.

GJAW 2024 will be an automotive event at the end of the year which will be held from November 22 to December 1. At this 3rd event, the exhibition area will move from JCC Senayan to ICE BSD, Tangerang, with a significant increase in total area.

"Hopefully, this will further strengthen our exhibition position as a mandatory agenda for visitors to meet their curiosity and needs for various aspects in the automotive world," concluded Andy.
