Sub-Marker Chery 'Jaeckoo' Will Enter Indonesia This Year, Present At IIMS?

Chery will continue to add a variety of car choices in Indonesia, after presenting Omoda E5, this manufacturer will bring sub-brand SUV, Jaecoo to the country.

This was revealed by the Head of the Indonesian Chery Sales Brand, Rifkie Setiawan, when asked about their presence this year, he confirmed that he would present it in Indonesia.

"This year we will bring (Jaecko) to Indonesia," he told VOI, Wednesday, January 17.

However, he was reluctant to say when the brand would be present in the country, but he made sure it was still under the auspices of Chery. Is the IIMS exhibition a place to prove the presence of the brand?

"Actually, we want to present and bring concepts too, but it doesn't seem like it (IIMS)," he added.

Not without reason, he said Chery Indonesia was focused on introducing the Omoda E5 electric car. Indeed, this new car is expected to officially launch in the near future.

As is known, several times the Jaecool brand was caught on camera being tested by roads in Indonesia, namely Jaecool 7 which has a calm look and is the right candidate to fight Honda HR-V and Hyundai Creta.

Regarding specifications, Jaecool 7 is powered by engines with a capacity of 1,600 cc, 4 turbo cylinders. With the engine, it can release 184 dk of power and 276 Nm of torque, which is channeled to all wheels (AWD).
