Neta Collaborates With LK Technology To Develop The World's Largest Die Casting Machine

JAKARTA - A car manufacturer from China, Neta, under the auspices ofbolon Auto, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LK Technology, an integrated die-casting machine maker registered in Hong Kong.

Quoted from the Cnevpost page, Tuesday, December 19, the two companies will work together to develop die-casting equipment in the 20,000 ton class, which is claimed to be the most advanced globally.

The agreement marks a step forward in die-casting technology, with machines developed capable of surpassing major competitors such as Zeekr, Auto, Tesla, and Xpeng. The machine, weighing 20,000 tonnes, is designed to produce larger parts, including class B vehicle chassis, in a short time, which is 1-2 minutes.

As part of the deal, Neta plans to buy several large die-casting machines from LK Technology. In addition, the two will form a joint venture to establish a pilot manufacturing basis for die-casting in Anhui province in eastern China.

Integrated die-casting equipment is the key in streamlining the production of vehicle components by reducing the number of components and production costs. A report from Neta states that this technology can accelerate the creation of vehicle chassis from 1-2 hours to 1-2 minutes, as well as help reduce weight and increase vehicle comfort.

The move is seen as a significant effort to reduce production costs, which in turn will help Neta achieve its global sales target of more than 1 million vehicles by 2026.
