JAKARTA - Wuling Motors through its first electric vehicle product line, Air ev, which has a unique design, has received prestigious appreciation in Indonesia.
This time, the electric car, which has mushroomed in various regions, won an award at the 2023 GridOto Award which was held online Friday, December 1.
In this year's awards, Wuling Air ev was named The Best of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) for the four-wheeled vehicle category.

The award carries the theme 'Celebrating Innovations' which has gone through various stages of testing. In the assessment of The Best Battery Electric Vehicle category, the team tested various aspects that included the assessment factors ranging from design, features, performance, control, to electrical energy efficiency in its use.
As is known, Wuling Air ev itself is the first electric vehicle from Wuling to be launched in Indonesia in August 2022. During its more than one year run in the Indonesian electric vehicle market, Air ev has received a warm welcome from Indonesian consumers and is one of the best-selling vehicles in Indonesia with sales figures of more than 12,000 units from the launch period until October 2023.
