JAKARTA - The 2023 EXPO EV Inabuyer Event officially started. One of the electric motorcycle exhibitions was held at the SMESCO Exhibition Hall Building, Jakarta, where this event exhibited various electric motorcycles, conversion motors, and the introduction of some of the leading technologies.

The main purpose of this exhibition is to accelerate the target of reducing fuel subsidies, contribute to real efforts to reduce air pollution, and facilitate the purchase of electric vehicles by the central and regional governments in accordance with Presidential Instruction Number 7 of 2022.

This event was supported by several parties, including the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs, the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP), the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association (HIPPINDO).

"There are so many local brands that have elements of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN). This is a great opportunity for Indonesia to host electric vehicles in the world," said Budi Iduansjah, as Chair of HIPPINDO in his remarks at the opening of this event in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 28.

With the holding of this event, it is hoped that it can develop an environmentally friendly ecosystem in Indonesia, which is currently being pursued by various parties.

"The target of the inabuyer ev is to reduce fuel vehicles and switch to electric vehicles as soon as possible," said Budi.

The Opening Ceremony ended with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association (HIPPINDO), and the Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industry Association (AISMOLI).

This collaboration aims to advance the conversion program of electric motorcycles by involving wider participants. In addition, the signing of the MoU between PT Asuransi Jasa Raharja Putra and AISMOLI was also carried out to provide electric motorcycle insurance.

Not only showing off electric vehicles, this exhibition is also a forum for selling electric motorcycles with an incentive program of IDR 7 million. Business matching between electric vehicle brands and buyers' targets from the private sector and the government, is held in the business lounge room on a scheduled basis.

The Inabuyer EV EXPO exhibition will take place from 28 November to 30 November 2023 from 10.00 to 21.00 WIB.
